Generally, Muay Thai fighters earn high income from the fight, sadly without saving along the side of their boxing career. This poor financial plan happen to other athletes as well. After boxing career has ended at a very young age, earning is down yet still without saving. Struggling to feed themselves and their families, they are forced to leave their past glory and their legacy in Muay Thai behind. That might turn tragedy later on. Gumpun Muay Thai learns all these obstacles. We create a management system for a Muay Thai gym that is replicable. So that the Muay Thai fighter can exploit their boxing skills effectively in continue being Muay Thai trainer or even an owner of the gym. For standardize of Muay Thai teaching, although Muay Thai is popular around the world, there were no teaching standard before ours for a non-boxer to fulfil exercising purpose. Having no standard leaves the effectiveness of the sport depending on individual trainer capability. ‘Not all good boxers are good trainer’ is a known but hard-to-accept fact. Standard practice at Gumpun Muay Thai for a non boxer is created by experienced Muay Thai fighters, team of system engineers from Khon Kaen University and a group of experienced sport scientists. The course was created with the purpose of having a practitioner building lean but agile muscle, the boxer like body, while preventing injury from encountering force which is the nature of the boxing sports itself. We can assure you that boxing with any Gumpun Muay Thai trainer can be as challenge and as fun. We are chosen to be one of the 10 Champions for change who work to help out those underrepresented by Channel News Asia 2019.
